Job summary

Intel Corporation in Malaysia (Kulim) seeks a Module Engineer to own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes for advanced IC production. You will drive efficiency, quality, and scalability while collaborating with suppliers and global sites.

The role requires knowledge of SPC, data-driven problem solving, and experience with manufacturing defect detection systems, in a cleanroom environment with proper PPE. On-site, experienced hire, shift 1.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in engineering with hands-on manufacturing exposure.
• Proficient in SPC and data-driven problem solving.
• Experience or familiarity with equipment maintenance and defect detection systems.

Responsibilities

• Own and optimize high-volume manufacturing equipment and processes to improve production efficiency, quality, and cost.
• Conduct tests to control critical dimensions and minimize defects in lines.
• Propose modifications to improve techniques, throughput, and output performance.
• Scale manufacturing capacity and ensure seamless transfers to global sites.
• Perform equipment maintenance, repairs, and continuous improvement aligned with safety and quality metrics.
• Develop excursion prevention systems and identify discrepant material or activities within equipment and processes.
• Manage equipment installation, conversion, and qualification for factory ramps.
• Collaborate with suppliers and cross-functional teams to drive process optimization and readiness.
• Assist technology transfers through training, audits, and ensuring consistency across sites.
