Job summary

CRBC (M) Holdings Sdn. Bhd. is seeking a Laboratory Assistant to assist in field and laboratory testing of construction materials.

You will collect and prepare samples, perform basic tests on concrete, soil, and aggregates, and record data to ensure compliance with project specifications. The role requires a Diploma or Certificate in Civil Engineering or related field, and willingness to work on-site at bridge construction locations in Sarawak.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering, Construction Technology, Material Testing, or a related field.
• Basic knowledge of material testing procedures.
• Good communication skills in English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Willingness to work on-site at bridge construction locations in Sarawak.

Responsibilities

• Collect and prepare samples.
• Perform basic tests (slump tests, cube tests, soil compaction).
• Record test data.
• Coordinate with site engineers and consultants.

Skills

Basic knowledge of material testing

English & Bahasa Malaysia proficiency

On-site bridge work in Sarawak

Mandarin as advantage

Education

Certificate or Diploma in Civil Engineering/Construction Technology/Material Testing
