Job summary

Soon Soon Oilmills Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia seeks a Laboratory Technician to handle day-to-day operations within the lab, ensuring timely completion of tests and assisting with new product or procedure testing.

The role requires shifts and potential overtime, with strict adherence to SOPs and ISO 17025, GLP, safety rules, and 5S housekeeping to support overall quality objectives.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-day operation of the respective section in the laboratory.
• Ensure that all tests are completed on time.
• Assist in the testing of new products or procedures.
• Work in shifts and perform overtime (OT) as and when required.
• Perform tasks according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and in compliance with ISO 17025 requirements.
• Report any abnormalities or non-conformances to the supervisor immediately.
• Maintain good housekeeping and 5S practices.
• Observe laboratory safety procedures and Good Laboratory Practices (GLP).
• Perform any other duties as assigned by Management.
