Job summary

Stone Forest Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Client Compliance Senior Associate to manage client continuance (CCF) activities for the Business Solutions Group, ensuring timely, high-quality compliance deliverables. You will collaborate with clients and internal stakeholders to gather information, assess risk, and improve CCF processes.

Ideal candidates hold a degree in a related field, with at least 2 years in KYC/CDD/EDD and compliance, plus strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Qualifications

• Degree in Finance, Banking, Accounting, Business, Compliance, Law or related disciplines.
• At least 2 years of relevant KYC, CDD/EDD, compliance or related experience.
• Experience in professional services, corporate services or consulting environments is advantageous.
• Good knowledge of KYC, CDD/EDD, sanctions, PEP, beneficial ownership and client continuance requirements.
• Experience reviewing complex KYC cases, client portfolios and Client Continuance Forms (CCF).

Responsibilities

• Handle and manage CCF processes for the Business Solutions Group.
• Review client information, ownership structures, beneficial owners, directors and related parties.
• Assess client risk profiles and ensure CCF documentation and risk assessments are complete and up to date.
• Review high-risk and complex clients, including PEPs, sanctions, adverse media and higher risk jurisdictions.
• Identify CCF gaps and follow up with clients for required information and supporting documents.
• Ensure client continuance reviews, periodic reviews and remediation are completed accurately and within deadlines.
• Provide recommendations on client acceptance, continuance and escalation of higher-risk cases.
• Keep up to date with relevant KYC and CCF regulations, regulatory expectations and internal policies.
• Communicate directly with clients to understand their requirements, clarify documentation and resolve CCF issues.
