Job summary

Asia Food City Management Sdn Bhd Klang seeks a hands-on cook to support daily store operations and uphold Quality, Service, and Cleanliness standards. You will prepare food per company recipes, follow procedures, and ensure consistent taste, presentation, and portion control.

Role includes taking customer orders, basic cashier duties on the POS system, and providing friendly, fast, accurate service. Must be able to rotate shifts including weekends and public holidays at GM Klang.

Qualifications

• Must know how to cook and have basic culinary skills.
• Able to follow recipes and accurately measure ingredients.
• A good team player with a cooperative and positive attitude.
• Able to commit to rotating shifts including weekend / Public Holiday.
• Able to commute to and work at GM Klang as required for the role.
• Good to Have: Experience in F&B service, Basic understanding of food hygiene and food safety practices, Ability to communicate effectively in Bahasa Malaysia

Responsibilities

• Support and oversee daily store operations to ensure compliance with company standards in Quality, Service, and Cleanliness (QSC).
• Prepare food according to company recipes, procedures, and quality standards.
• Ensure all products are prepared consistently and meet the required standards for taste, presentation, and portion control.
• Take customer orders and perform basic cashier duties using the POS system.
• Provide friendly, fast, and accurate service to deliver an excellent guest experience.
• Maintain a clean, organized, and hygienic kitchen and service area always.
