Responsibilities

• Assisting kitchen staff with food preparation, including washing, peeling, chopping and portioning ingredients.
• Maintaining cleanliness and hygiene standards throughout the kitchen, including washing dishes, utensils and cooking equipment.
• Organising and storing food items correctly to ensure proper inventory management and food safety compliance.
• Supporting the cooking process by preparing ingredients and assembling components as directed by senior kitchen staff.
• Disposing of waste materials and recyclables in accordance with health and safety regulations.
• Restocking kitchen supplies and ingredients as needed throughout service periods.
• Following all food safety and hygiene protocols to maintain a safe working environment.
• Assisting with general kitchen maintenance and equipment care.
• Working efficiently under pressure during busy service times.
