Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a kitchen cleaning assistant in Kuala Lumpur to maintain cleanliness across floors, walls, sinks, and workstations. You will support dishwashing, sanitation, and daily deep cleaning tasks, while assisting with basic prep and kitchen tasks on request.

Responsibilities include maintaining storage, chiller, and freezer cleanliness, disposing of trash, and ensuring prep areas stay clean before and after use, under chef guidance.

Responsibilities

• Keep kitchen floors, walls, sinks, and workstations clean at all times
• Ensure proper dishwashing and sanitizing procedures
• Dispose of trash and maintain cleanliness of bin areas
• Clean grease traps, floor traps, and drainage regularly
• Support daily and scheduled deep cleaning tasks
• Maintain cleanliness of storage, chiller, and freezer areas
• Assist with simple food preparation (e.g. washing vegetables, basic cutting)
• Help with basic kitchen tasks when requested by chefs
• Ensure prep areas are clean before and after use
