• Minimum 3 years as Kitchen Manager or 5 years in a management role in food service.
• Able to converse and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English; Mandarin proficiency is a plus.
• Possess exceptional PR skills and customer orientation.
• Must be computer literate with basic ordering/purchasing and cash handling knowledge.
• Typhoid and Food Handling Certification ready.

Responsibilities

• Kitchen Production: manage daily meals services and catering.
• Ability to cook a wide range of foods in large batch quantities (International Asian & Western).
• Lead the Atmosphere: ensure staff are efficient, clean, organized and professional.
• Training: oversee staff training and proper food handling procedures.
• Cash management: oversee onsite cash handling, registers and petty cash.
• Purchasing: manage all food and supply orders following vendor policies.
• Food Costs: monitor inventory and minimize waste.
• Labor management: hire, review and control turnover to under 30%.
• Communication: fluent in English; respond to emails within 24 hours.
• Safety & Security: maintain a safe work environment.
• Self-motivated and able to work with the team without direct supervision.
• Enjoy working around students and staff; catering for events.
• Passionate about food; cooking from scratch.

Cezars Kitchen is seeking a qualified Kitchen Manager to join our kitchen in Kuala Lumpur.

In your role, you are the Director of Quality! You must ensure the highest quality of food production that will wow your guests, making them wanting to come back for seconds, thirds and so forth.

Able to converse and write in Bahasa Malaysia and English proficiently. We are seeking candidates proficient in Mandarin to effectively communicate with Mandarin-speaking clients.

Possess exceptional PR skills.

Customer oriented, High spirit with a fun and loving attitude.

Have a sense of ownership and responsibility towards the outlet and company as a whole.

Able to work independently with minimal supervision from top management

Energetic and fast moving.

Minimum of 3 years for Kitchen Manager / 5 years for manager working experience in either school kitchens, fast food chain, restaurants or a catering company.

Computer literate and able to handle basic ordering/ purchasing, and cash handling policy

Able to demonstrate strong product knowledge.

Able to send daily reports, and catering invoice tracking.

All candidates must have Typhoid and Food Handling Certification ready.

Communication: Must be proficient in English, computer literate and respond to all emails within 24 business hours.

Safety & Security: Maintain a safe work environment for all staff and guests.

Self-motivated and can work with the team and without direct supervision.
