Job summary

Stellar Signature Sdn. Bhd. in Malaysia is seeking a Kitchen Assistant to support daily food preparation and maintain high kitchen hygiene across all areas.

You will follow standard recipes, assist with stock deliveries, and help with opening/closing duties. Willingness to travel to Kuala Lumpur for training (1 month) with accommodation provided is required.

Qualifications

• Experience in basic food preparation and kitchen hygiene practices.
• Ability to follow standard recipes and portion sizes.
• Willingness to assist across kitchen duties and operations.

Responsibilities

• Assist in basic food preparation, such as washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients
• Follow standard recipes and portion sizes to maintain consistency in food quality
• Maintain the cleanliness of the kitchen area, including workstations, cooking equipment, and floors
• Wash dishes, pots, pans, and kitchen utensils efficiently
• Strictly follow food hygiene, sanitation, and safety standards to prevent cross-contamination
• Support the kitchen team during daily operations
• Assist with receiving stock deliveries, ensuring items are correct and stored promptly
• Complete daily opening and closing kitchen duties, ensuring the prep areas are fully stocked and ready for the next shift
• Willing to travel to KL for training (at least 1 month); accommodation provided
