Job summary

FIRABIB BISTRO SDN BHD in Sungai Petani is seeking a diligent kitchen assistant to join our team. Based in Malaysia, you will support food preparation and plating while following standard recipes and outlet guidelines.

You will assist with daily kitchen operations, ensure proper storage of ingredients, maintain cleanliness, observe safety procedures, help receive and store supplies, portion accurately, and minimise wastage.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and assist in the preparation of food according to the outlet's menu and standard recipes.
• Assist with daily kitchen operations, including food preparation, cooking and plating.
• Ensure all ingredients and food items are properly prepared, stored and handled.
• Maintain cleanliness and hygiene of the kitchen, equipment and work areas.
• Follow food safety, hygiene and workplace safety procedures at all times.
• Assist in receiving, checking and storing kitchen supplies and ingredients.
• Ensure proper portioning and minimise food wastage.
• Work closely with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth and efficient kitchen operations.
• Perform other kitchen-related duties as assigned by the Supervisor or Management.
