Job summary

Asow Eatery Sdn Bhd in Ipoh is seeking a kitchen assistant to support daily operations. You will help with mise en place, ingredient preparation, and maintain cleanliness across all kitchen areas.

You will assist chefs during service, wash dishes, restock supplies, and ensure proper food handling and hygiene practices. This role requires reliability and the ability to work in a fast-paced kitchen environment.

Responsibilities

• Assist with daily kitchen preparation and mise en place.
• Wash, cut and prepare ingredients.
• Assist chefs during kitchen operations.
• Maintain cleanliness of kitchen equipment and work areas.
• Assist with dishwashing and kitchen cleaning.
• Receive, arrange and restock kitchen supplies.
• Ensure proper food handling and hygiene practices.
• Perform other duties assigned by the Chef.
