Job summary

Eastfound Malaysia Sdn Bhd is seeking a Kitchen Helper to support chefs with basic food prep, maintain cleanliness, and assist in receiving deliveries in a busy kitchen environment.

The role requires standing for long periods, strong hygiene, and the ability to follow instructions while working as part of a cooperative team. Employment is full-time at a location in Johor with 7.5 hours per day, 6 days per week.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience in a restaurant, cafeteria, or similar food service environment.
• Able to stand for extended periods in a fast-paced setting.
• Good personal hygiene and strong awareness of food safety practices.
• Team player with a positive and hardworking attitude.
• Ability to follow instructions and work efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Assist chefs and cooks with basic food preparation tasks, such as washing, peeling, and cutting ingredients.
• Maintain kitchen cleanliness by washing dishes, sanitizing work surfaces, and taking out the trash.
• Assist in receiving and storing food deliveries and supplies.
• Ensure all kitchen equipment and utensils are cleaned and stored properly.
• Help with other general tasks as needed to support the smooth operation of the kitchen.
