Qualifications

About the Role

Spectrum International School Putrajaya is seeking a dedicated, enthusiastic, and nurturing Kindergarten Teacher to join our team on a temporary basis for maternity cover.

The successful candidate will be responsible for creating a safe, engaging, and stimulating learning environment that supports the academic, social, emotional, and physical development of our learners.

Plan and deliver engaging, age-appropriate lessons aligned with the school's curriculum.

Foster a positive, inclusive, and supportive classroom environment.

Monitor and assess students' progress while maintaining accurate development records.

Support children's emotional, social, and behavioural development through positive guidance and effective classroom management.

Prepare and organise classroom materials, learning resources, and educational activities.

Communicate effectively with parents regarding students' progress, development, and well-being.

Collaborate with colleagues, school leaders, and support staff to ensure high-quality teaching and learning.

Supervise students during classroom activities, recess, assemblies, and school events.

Ensure the health, safety, and welfare of all students at all times.

Perform other duties as assigned by the School Principal or Academic Management.

Bachelor's Degree in Early Childhood Education, Education, or a related field.

A teaching qualification or relevant certification is an advantage.

Previous experience teaching Kindergarten or Early Years students is preferred.

Excellent classroom management and communication skills.

Passionate about working with children and committed to supporting their holistic development.

Proficient in both spoken and written English.
