Job summary

Sunway Berhad is hiring for a kindergarten kitchen role in Subang Jaya. The successful candidate will prepare daily meals, snacks and beverages for children, following the centre's menu and ensuring clean, hygienic food preparation aligned with child-friendly practices.

Responsibilities include monitoring supplies, keeping areas clean, assisting with general centre upkeep, and reporting safety hazards to the Centre Supervisor.

Qualifications

• Minimum SPM or equivalent.
• Previous experience in cooking, food preparation, childcare, kindergarten or a similar environment is an added advantage.
• Able to prepare simple, nutritious and child-friendly meals.
• Responsible, reliable and organised.
• A caring, patient and positive attitude is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook daily meals, snacks and beverages for the children according to the centre's menu
• Ensure meals are prepared in a clean, hygienic and child-friendly manner
• Follow proper food handling, storage and kitchen hygiene practices
• Monitor food supplies and inform the Centre Supervisor when stocks are running low
• Keep the kitchen, cooking equipment and food preparation areas clean and organised
• Assist in maintaining the cleanliness and tidiness of the kindergarten, including common areas, toys and learning materials
• Carry out light cleaning duties to ensure the centre is safe, clean and comfortable for children
• Ensure toys, furniture and other centre items are properly arranged and kept in good condition
• Maintain high standards of hygiene and cleanliness at all times
• Report any safety hazards, damaged equipment or maintenance issues to the Centre Supervisor
