Job summary

Sayfol International School in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a caring Kindergarten Teaching Assistant to support teachers in creating a nurturing and engaging learning environment for young learners.

You will assist in planning and implementing age-appropriate activities, supervise students during lessons and play, help prepare teaching materials and displays, and collaborate with staff to observe progress and promote inclusive development.

Responsibilities

• Assist the Kindergarten Teacher in planning and implementing age-appropriate learning activities.
• Support students during classroom lessons, play-based learning sessions, and outdoor activities.
• Help prepare teaching materials, learning resources, and classroom displays.
• Supervise children during classroom activities, meal times, recess, and school events.
• Encourage positive behavior and support students' social, emotional, and academic development.
• Provide individual or small-group assistance to students as directed by the teacher.
• Assist in maintaining a safe, clean, and organized classroom environment.
• Support the teacher in observing and documenting student progress.
• Collaborate with teaching staff to ensure a positive and inclusive learning atmosphere.
• Participate in school activities, meetings, and professional development sessions when required.
