Job summary

JAGES SDN. BHD. in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Technician with a Diploma or Certificate in Engineering or related fields.

The role welcomes candidates from a technical/engineering background who are looking to transition into a technician position and values prior hands-on experience. Responsibilities include assisting with installation, testing, CCTV and access control system maintenance, on-site tasks, basic cabling, site inspections, and adherence to safety procedures.

Qualifications

Certificate or Diploma in Technical, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, or related fields.
Candidates from technical/engineering background transitioning to Technician role are welcome.
Previous technician or relevant technical experience is an advantage.
Basic knowledge of CCTV, security systems, tools and equipment is an advantage.

Responsibilities

Assist with installation, setup and maintenance of technical systems and equipment.
Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
Assist with CCTV, access control, alarm and security system installation and maintenance.
Carry out basic cabling, wiring and equipment connections.
Conduct site inspections and preventive maintenance.
Follow technical instructions, safety procedures and project requirements.
Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained.
Perform other technical tasks as assigned by supervisor.
