The role involves assisting with installation, setup and maintenance of technical systems and CCTV/security equipment, with on-site responsibilities. Willingness to travel to project locations and perform basic fault fixing is expected.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in Technical, Civil, Electrical or Mechanical Engineering, TVET or related field.
• Candidates from a technical or engineering background who want to transition into a Technician role are welcome to apply.
• Previous technician or relevant technical experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV, security systems, tools and equipment is an advantage.
• Willing to work on-site and travel to project locations when required.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, setup and maintenance of technical systems and equipment.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with CCTV, access control, alarm and security system installation and maintenance.
• Carry out basic cabling, wiring and equipment connections.
• Conduct site inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Follow technical instructions, safety procedures and project requirements.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained.
• Perform other technical tasks assigned by the supervisor.
