Job summary

Jora Malaysia is seeking a capable Technician to assist with installation, setup and maintenance of CCTV, security systems, and related equipment on-site, with willingness to travel to project locations as required.

Candidates from technical or engineering backgrounds transitioning into technician roles are welcome; previous technician experience is an advantage, and basic knowledge of CCTV and tools will help.

Qualifications

• Certificate or Diploma in technical/engineering fields.
• Willingness to transition into Technician role from engineering background.
• Previous technician experience is an advantage.
• Basic knowledge of CCTV and security systems is an advantage.

Responsibilities

• Assist with the installation, setup and maintenance of technical systems and equipment.
• Perform testing and troubleshooting to identify and resolve technical issues.
• Assist with CCTV, access control, alarm and security system installation and maintenance.
• Carry out basic cabling, wiring and equipment connections.
• Conduct site inspections and preventive maintenance.
• Follow technical instructions, safety procedures and project requirements.
• Ensure tools, equipment and work areas are properly maintained.
• Perform other technical tasks assigned by the supervisor.
