Vistra in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist for a full-time, 1-year contract. Based in Malaysia, you will drive end-to-end recruitment, source talent across channels, and collaborate with hiring managers and HR partners to fill headcount efficiently.

The role requires a degree with demonstrable experience in talent identification within an MNC, strong communication and relationship-building skills, and the ability to thrive in a dynamic environment.

Qualifications

• Proven talent identification and hiring experience in a multinational corporation (MNC).

Responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end recruitment processes including sourcing, pre-screening, interviewing, and presenting candidates to hiring managers.
• Provide guidance to hiring managers on recruitment strategies and timelines, staying updated on sourcing trends.
• Develop and execute recruitment strategies with decision-makers to meet timeframes.
• Proactively source talent via social media, referrals, sourcing tools and other methods.
• Build relationships with industry experts and associations to create passive candidate pipelines.
• Liaise with hiring managers, HR Partners and stakeholders to keep everyone informed.
• Execute talent programs like referrals and career fairs; analyze TA metrics for continuous improvement.

We have an exciting opportunity for you to join our team as Junior Talent Acquisition Specialist. This full-time and 1 year contract position is based in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, allowing you to make a significant impact to our Talent Acquisition team and the organisation’s headcount growth.

Responsibilities:

• Manage the end-to-end recruitment process, including devising search strategies, actively sourcing candidates, conducting pre-screening and interviews, presenting qualified candidates to hiring managers, negotiating offers, and facilitating the hiring and onboarding processes.


• Provide expert guidance and consultation to hiring managers, offering insights on hiring strategies, recruitment cycle timing, coaching, and best practices, as well as staying abreast of sourcing trends.


• Develop, recommend, and execute recruitment strategies in collaboration with decision-makers to ensure successful candidate searches within specified timeframes.


• Proactively source talent through various channels, such as social media, employee referrals, competitive intelligence/research, sourcing tools, and other innovative methods.


• Build and maintain relationships with industry experts and professional associations to establish ongoing passive candidate networks.


• Proactively develop strong relationships with hiring managers, HR Business Partners, and internal stakeholders, ensuring that everyone involved is updated and well-informed.


• Execute talent acquisition programs, including Internal Job Mobility, Referrals, Career Fairs and other events.


• Analyze, and report on TA metrics to highlight opportunities for efficiency and cost optimization with the intent to perform continuous improvement of TA processes and procedures.

Requirements:

• Degree in relevant course.


• Proven talent identification and hiring experience in a multinational corporation (MNC).


• Demonstrated ability to build strong relationships with key stakeholders and decision-makers.


• Strong written/verbal communication, interpersonal, negotiation, and analytical skills.


• Proficient in top-tier talent sourcing and networking.
