Job summary

Bitdeer is building an AI-driven GPU cloud and multi-region SRE platform in Malaysia. As an entry-level Software Engineer on the SRE/Monitoring Platform team, you will contribute to the NeoCloud SRE stack, take scoped components from design to production, and ship through GitOps and CI/CD. You will grow toward owning a sub-context within 12 months.

You will write code and tests, operate what you build, and participate in on-call as a shadow before taking ownership.

Qualifications

• 0-2 years of software engineering experience (new graduates welcome).
• Strong fundamentals in Go, Python, Java or Rust and clean coding practices.
• CS fundamentals: data structures, algorithms, concurrency and networking basics.
• Knowledge of distributed systems concepts and observability basics.
• Familiarity with Linux, shell, and debugging tools is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Collect + Storage components; build collection-agent and storage paths.
• Develop alerting and SLO frameworks; tune default alert rules.
• Contribute to topology and cluster-health services for K8s and Slurm families.
• Assist remediation/workflow components and job scheduling features.
• Instrument services with metrics/logs/traces; write dashboards and runbooks.
• Write unit/integration tests; participate in chaos/soak tests.
