Job summary

DCD Technology Sdn Bhd is seeking a proactive proposals and solutions engineer to prepare technical proposals, write-ups and project documentation for data centre projects in Malaysia. You will support quotation preparation, coordinate with vendors, assist Sales in project costing and technical submissions, and work closely with senior engineers to build both technical and commercial competencies.

Site visits to potential and existing clients and the aim to independently manage future proposal

Qualifications

• Degree/Diploma in Mechanical/Electrical Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
• 2-3 years working experience in Data Centre/Engineering industry.
• Comfortable communicating in Chinese with customers and suppliers.

Responsibilities

• Prepare solution/site technical proposals, solution write-ups, and project documentation, presentation and tender submission.
• Support quotation preparation and coordination with vendors and suppliers.
• Assist Sales department in project costing, solution development, and technical submissions.
• Work closely with senior engineers to develop both technical and commercial competencies.
• Support customer inquiries and new business opportunities.
• Site visits to potential and existing clients.
• Develop capabilities to independently manage future proposal and solution engineering activities.
