Job summary

AL AiN IT Consultants Sdn Bhd in Greater Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Junior Security Analyst to join on-site. You will support security assessments of applications and networks, monitor events, review logs, and assist investigations, with mentorship from senior team members.

You will gain exposure to malware analysis basics, remediation, and secure configurations while collaborating with software testing teams to identify vulnerabilities and strengthen security posture.

Qualifications

• Strong foundation in Cybersecurity concepts and risk management.
• Knowledge of network security, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and secure design.
• Understanding of application security and common vulnerabilities.
• Analytical skills to interpret logs and detect anomalies.
• Basic exposure to malware analysis or interest in learning.
• Academic background or certifications (IT/CS/Cybersecurity or CompTIA Security+/CEH Associate) is beneficial.
• Ability to work on-site in Greater Kuala Lumpur and communicate clearly.
• Familiarity with Windows and Linux, scripting or automation tools is an advantage.
