Job summary

AL AiN IT Consultants Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Security Analyst for on-site work in Greater Kuala Lumpur. You will monitor, assess and improve the security posture of applications, networks, and systems across client environments and internal operations.

Qualifications

• Candidates should possess strong cybersecurity skills, including threat assessment, vulnerability management, and familiarity with security standards and frameworks.
• Candidates should possess application security skills, such as secure coding principles, security testing of software, and understanding of common application vulnerabilities.
• Candidates should possess analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex security data, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions.
• Candidates should possess network security skills, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network architecture concepts.
• Candidates should possess malware analysis skills, including the ability to analyze malicious code behavior and support remediation efforts.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are beneficial.
• Experience working with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners) and in a software testing or QA environment is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and commitment to continuous learning in security trends.

Responsibilities

• This role monitors, assesses, and improves the security posture of applications, networks, and systems within client environments and internal operations.
• Conduct security assessments and vulnerability analyses, review logs and alerts, investigate potential threats and coordinate incident response activities.
• Collaborate with software testing teams to integrate security controls into testing workflows and prepare technical documentation and security reports.
• Assist in developing and enforcing security policies and participate in security awareness initiatives.
• Stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices.
