AL AiN IT Consultants Sdn Bhd is seeking a Senior Security Analyst for on-site work in Greater Kuala Lumpur. You will monitor, assess and improve the security posture of applications, networks, and systems across client environments and internal operations.

• Candidates should possess strong cybersecurity skills, including threat assessment, vulnerability management, and familiarity with security standards and frameworks.
• Candidates should possess application security skills, such as secure coding principles, security testing of software, and understanding of common application vulnerabilities.
• Candidates should possess analytical skills, including the ability to interpret complex security data, identify root causes, and propose practical solutions.
• Candidates should possess network security skills, including firewall configurations, intrusion detection/prevention, and secure network architecture concepts.
• Candidates should possess malware analysis skills, including the ability to analyze malicious code behavior and support remediation efforts.
• Relevant certifications such as CISSP, CISM, CEH, OSCP, or equivalent are beneficial.
• Experience working with security tools (e.g., SIEM, IDS/IPS, vulnerability scanners) and in a software testing or QA environment is an advantage.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Security, Information Technology, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong communication skills, ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams, and commitment to continuous learning in security trends.

Role Description

This full-time on-site Senior Security Analyst role is based in Greater Kuala Lumpur. The Senior Security Analyst will monitor, assess, and improve the security posture of applications, networks, and systems used within client environments and internal operations. Daily responsibilities include conducting security assessments and vulnerability analyses, reviewing logs and alerts, investigating potential threats, and coordinating incident response activities. The role involves collaborating with software testing teams to integrate security controls into testing workflows, preparing technical documentation and security reports, and recommending remediation steps to stakeholders. The Senior Security Analyst will also contribute to security policies, participate in security awareness initiatives, and stay current with emerging threats and industry best practices.
