Job summary

Adinas Tours & Travel Sdn Bhd in Penang is seeking a results-oriented sales professional with at least 2 years in airline, travel, or tourism sales. The role focuses on building corporate accounts and expanding partnerships within the travel trade.

You will execute sales strategies to grow revenue, maintain relationships with travel agencies and corporate clients, and use MS Office daily. Experience with Amadeus/Sabre etc is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of sales experience in the airline, travel, or tourism industry.
• Strong network and established relationships within the travel trade industry.
• Proven ability to develop corporate accounts and build long-term business partnerships.
• Excellent communication, presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organisational abilities.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
• Experience with airline reservation systems (e.g. Amadeus, Galileo, Sabre) will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities

• Execute sales strategies to achieve assigned revenue and market share targets.
• Build, develop, and maintain strong relationships with travel agencies, tour operators, corporate clients, and other key business partners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities through market research, networking, and trade engagement.
• Conduct regular sales visits, presentations, and business negotiations to secure new and existing accounts.
• Monitor market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities, providing market insights to support commercial decisions.
• Promote the airline's products, services, and promotional campaigns to maximise sales opportunities.
• Represent the airline at trade exhibitions, industry events, and customer meetings.
• Prepare sales reports and maintain accurate customer records.
