Job summary

Qualifications

• Degree in Quantity Surveying or equivalent.
• 1 year of experience in construction or related industry; fresh grads welcome.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Project).
• Strong communication in English and Malay.
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and capable of cost calculation.

Responsibilities

• Prepare project cost estimates, budgets, and bills of quantities (BQ).
• Handle take-off quantities and prepare tender documents, progress claims, and contracts.
• Negotiate with contractors and suppliers for competitive pricing and cost efficiency.
• Liaise with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers for cost control and timely execution.
• Evaluate bids, quotations, and proposals from contractors and suppliers.
• Monitor contract administration and project cost control.
• Conduct site visits, verify on-site BQs, and perform quality checks.
• Utilize SAP for documentation and cost management.
• Perform ad-hoc tasks as assigned by management.
