Job summary

TCK Aluminium Sdn Bhd, Ampang Jaya, Malaysia, seeks a Quantity Surveyor to support cost control, tendering, and claim processes in a construction setting. The successful candidate will prepare take-offs, manage budgets, and coordinate with clients and project teams.

The role requires reading construction drawings, strong proficiency in MS Office, and preferably AutoCAD knowledge. Good communication and ability to work independently are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Diploma/degree in Quantity Surveying with 1–2 years' experience in construction.
• Prepare quantity take-offs, BQ, quotations, tender docs and progress claims.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, VO and subcontractor claims.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Read construction drawings; MS Office is required; AutoCAD is a plus.
• Strong communication, responsible and able to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Prepare quantity take-offs, BQ, quotations, tender documents and progress claims.
• Monitor project costs, budgets, variation orders (VO) and subcontractor claims.
• Liaise with clients, subcontractors, suppliers and project teams.
• Read construction drawings; proficiency in Microsoft Office is required, AutoCAD knowledge is an advantage.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders and work independently.
