Job summary

EY’s Core Business Services team in Kuala Lumpur seeks a Business Development professional to support bid processes, research, and proposal development. You will collaborate with the Business Development team and client service professionals to craft compelling responses that win new business, while coordinating across departments to meet aggressive deadlines.

The role emphasizes strong analytical, written and verbal communication, and the ability to manage multiple work streams under pressure.

Qualifications

• Recognised university degree in Business Studies/Marketing or equivalent.
• At least 2–5 years of work experience in a related field.
• Strong external market presence is a plus (social media presence, external events).

Responsibilities

• Actively participate in developing proposal strategy and authoring proposals.
• Assist in developing strategic/tactical proposals and campaigns with the Business Development team and client service professionals to win new business.
• Conduct research and write standard or customized proposals with senior management to convey a unique client strategy.
• Coordinate information flow from multiple departments to meet deadlines.
