Job summary

Sutera Satu Enterprise Sdn Bhd invites a capable Project Coordinator/Project Engineer to support mobilisation through handover for infrastructure projects in Malaysia. You will monitor site activities, ensure adherence to drawings, specs and schedules, and coordinate with clients, consultants, contractors, and authorities to keep projects on track.

The role requires a Diploma or Bachelor's in Civil Engineering, 2–3 years of construction experience, and proficiency in AutoCAD or MS Project.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant experience in construction or infrastructure projects.
• Experience in rail infrastructure is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning, coordinating and executing assigned projects from mobilisation through completion and handover.
• Monitor daily site activities to ensure works follow drawings, specs, schedules and quality requirements.
• Coordinate with Clients, Consultants, Contractors, Subcontractors, Suppliers and Authorities on technical and site matters.
• Attend site, progress and coordination meetings as required.
• Monitor progress, identify issues and recommend corrective actions.
• Assist in preparing and updating project schedules, progress reports and site records.
• Review drawings, method statements, material submissions and technical docs for compliance.
• Coordinate site inspections, quality checks, testing and rectification with project teams.
• Monitor contractor performance, resources and timely project delivery.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and regulatory requirements.
