Job summary

Advanced Energy in Malaysia seeks a skilled professional to oversee production planning and scheduling, ensuring on-time delivery and efficient material management. The role requires collaboration with engineering, procurement, and manufacturing teams to optimize BOMs, ECOs, and line-side stocking strategies.

The ideal candidate holds a B.S. in Operations/Finance/Materials Management or related field, with SAP experience and a proven track record in high-mix/low-volume environments.

Qualifications

• Ability to respond quickly and decisively to changing requirements.
• Strong judgment and initiative to balance priorities.

Responsibilities

• Plan and monitor final approval of products through PDP process.
• Coordinate production plans and material provisioning.
• Interface with MPM, marketing, sales, production and engineering managers.
• Address design changes, shortages, backlogs and interruptions.
• Develop and implement production control functions and scheduling systems.
• Approve quantities, schedules and parts lists for material control.
• Coordinate ECOs in NPI and maintain BOMs in SAP.
• Collaborate to create project schedules and release parts to production.
