Job summary

ADVANCED ENERGY INDUSTRIES (MALAYSIA) SDN. BHD. is seeking a Production Planner to coordinate planning, scheduling, and material flow in a fast-paced engineering environment.

You will interface with engineering, supply chain and management to ensure timely availability of parts and adherence to schedules. The role requires 3+ years in production or material planning, experience with high-mix/low-volume manufacturing, and strong SAP knowledge.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years of experience in Production Planning or Material Planning.
• Experience in high mix/low volume, pull-based manufacturing.
• Experience with SAP preferred; cross-functional collaboration with engineering and supply chain.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates and monitors final approval of products through the PDP process.
• Coordinates production plans to ensure materials are provided according to schedules.
• Interfaces with management, MPM, marketing, sales, production and engineering managers.
• Resolves shortages, backlogs and interruptions to schedules.
• Implements production control functions: master scheduling, shop sequencing, material requirements and BOM maintenance in SAP.
• Maintains confidentiality of production data and schedules.
• Acts as a liaison between engineering, manufacturing and supply chain.
• Coordinates ECOs in NPI and project schedules.
• Works with MPM to develop supply solutions for long lead time parts.
• Coordinates release of parts and materials to production.
