Job summary

Celestica seeks an entry-level Planning Associate in Kulim, Kedah, Malaysia. You will assist in forecasting, MPS/MRP data handling and production scheduling for designated products, ensuring alignment with customer orders.

You will work under supervision, gaining training and building practical knowledge of ERP systems, planning processes and cross-functional collaboration with supply chain teams.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of production planning fundamentals, scheduling and MRP techniques.
• Basic knowledge of purchasing principles and ERP/office systems.
• Ability to learn and use ERP and related applications.
• Understanding of customer needs and basic math/data entry skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks with accuracy under deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Provide entry-level support in planning production schedules for designated product lines.
• Consolidate forecasts and input MPS/MRP data with validation.
• Align customer purchase orders with production scheduling.
• Assist with End-of-Life analysis and action planning.
• Coordinate shop orders and materials kitting; track shipments and issues.
