Job summary

Celestica in Johor Bahru, Malaysia is seeking a seasoned planning professional to oversee master planning for multiple customers and lead daily production control and scheduling decisions. You will develop data-driven recommendations for labour and equipment, coordinating with cross-functional teams to align shipments with business goals.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronics manufacturing environments, materials and processes.
• Experience with production planning and supply chain management processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee master planning for some/all customers at the site.
• Provide leadership for daily production control and scheduling decisions.
• Develop plans, data, analysis and recommendations for labour and equipment decisions.
• Interface with Business Office, IE, Production, Procurement, Planning and customers to compile and communicate plans.
• Identify process enhancements and participate in design and implementation.
• Coordinate planning on customer requirements and volume changes.
• Track and report SCM metrics by customer monthly.
• Support pilot production runs, new products, line re-assignments and engineering changes.
