Job summary

Ideal Tech in Malaysia is seeking a hands-on Technician to assemble PC systems and test them to ensure peak performance before delivery.

You will perform quality checks, troubleshoot problems, and handle stock intake, while keeping customers informed of progress and any issues encountered.

No prior experience is required, but a Diploma in IT/CS is preferred; strong hardware interest and a proactive, team-oriented attitude are essential.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Information Technology, Computer Science, or a relevant field is preferred, but not necessary.
• Knowledge of PC hardware components and familiarity with the computer assembly process.
• Interest in computing and hardware technology, with a keenness to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
• Strong communication skills and a team-player mindset.
• Proactive attitude with a willingness to learn and adapt in a fast-paced work setting.
• Physical capability to safely lift and maneuver heavy items.
• No prior work experience required, but internships or projects are considered favorable.

Responsibilities

• Build and assemble a wide range of PC systems with precision, attention to detail, and in a timely, organized manner.
• Perform thorough quality checks and ensure all systems are functioning optimally before delivery.
• Troubleshoot and resolve issues identified during testing.
• Receive and transport new stock, including large items such as cases.
• Maintain regular communication with customers to update them on issues encountered during QC or assembly.
