Qualifications

About the role
We are seeking a Junior Marketing Executive to join the dynamic marketing team at KUMPULAN BTC BERHAD. This is a full-time position based in Kota Kinabalu, Sabah. As a Junior Marketing Executive, you will play a vital role in supporting the development and execution of marketing communications strategies that drive brand awareness and engagement. This position offers an excellent opportunity to build your career in marketing communications whilst working alongside experienced professionals who will mentor and guide your development.

Key responsibilities

• Assist in the development and implementation of marketing communications campaigns across multiple channels
• Create and curate marketing content including social media posts, email newsletters, and promotional materials
• Support the coordination of marketing events, product launches, and promotional activities
• Conduct market research and analyse competitor activities to identify marketing opportunities
• Monitor and report on the performance of marketing campaigns using analytics tools and metrics
• Collaborate with internal teams and external partners to ensure consistent brand messaging
• Assist in the management of marketing databases and customer communication records
• Support the creation of marketing collateral including brochures, presentations, and digital assets
• Contribute ideas and insights to brainstorming sessions and strategy meetings
• Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry trends and best practices in marketing communications

What we're looking for

• Diploma or Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or a related field
• Strong written and verbal communication skills in English; proficiency in Malay is advantageous
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with social media platforms and content management systems
• Creative thinking with the ability to generate innovative marketing ideas
• Excellent organisational and time management skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to delivering high-quality work
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment whilst also taking initiative independently
• Basic knowledge of digital marketing tools and analytics platforms is preferred
• Enthusiastic, proactive attitude with a genuine interest in marketing and communications
• Familiarity with graphic design software or video editing tools is a plus
