Job summary

Newell Brands in Ipoh, Malaysia, is seeking a Maintenance Manager to lead Equipment Maintenance KPIs, manage CMMS work orders, and drive PM planning. This role requires coordinating across maintenance and operations to keep equipment uptime high and costs in check.

The ideal candidate holds a degree in engineering, with at least 5 years in equipment maintenance, preferably in glove manufacturing, and may work rotating shifts as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Manager in achieving KPI targets for equipment uptime and cost.
• Manage maintenance work orders in CMMS created by Operations and Maintenance teams.
• Manage inventories through routine stock inspections and CMMS updates; participate in parts purchasing.
• Create and maintain PM plans in CMMS and execute PM work orders per plan.
• Participate in equipment performance meetings and drive improvement projects.

Responsibilities

• Assist Maintenance Manager in achieving Maintenance Department’s main KPIs: Equipment Uptime and Cost.

• Manage maintenance work orders in CMMS created by Operation teams and Maintenance team.

• Manage inventories: Routine inspection on the current stock and update CMMS system. Involved in Purchasing of parts.

• Manage PM plan: Create and maintain PM plan in CMMS based on downtime trend and execute PM work orders according to the plan.

• Involved in equipment performance meetings and improvement projects.

Requirements

• Candidate must possess at least a Degree in any engineering field

• At least 5 years of working experience in Equipment Maintenance, preferable in glove manufacturing environment.

• Able to work in rotating shift, if required.

• Applicants must be willing to work in Ipoh.
