Job summary

Hong Chan Engineering & Construction Sdn Bhd in Kuala Lumpur is seeking a Diploma/Certificate holder in Mechanical Engineering to support construction site activities as a Site Engineer.

You will supervise daily activities, coordinate with workers and subcontractors, ensure work follows drawings and schedules, monitor quality and safety, and assist with project documentation.

Qualifications

• Diploma/Certificate in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• 2–3 years of relevant construction site experience.
• M&E or infrastructure project experience is preferred.
• Good communication and coordination skills.
• Responsible, hardworking and willing to work at construction sites.
• Able to work under pressure and meet project deadlines.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and monitor daily construction activities at site.
• Coordinate with workers, subcontractors and project teams.
• Ensure work is carried out according to drawings, specifications and schedules.
• Monitor work quality, safety and site progress.
• Prepare site reports and assist with project documentation.
