Advanced Energy in Malaysia seeks an experienced Industrial Engineering Professional to lead a team of Industrial Technicians and optimize production processes. The role emphasizes capacity planning, time-study analysis, and CapEx project support to enhance efficiency and lean performance.

Applicants should have eight years of related experience, familiarity with ISO systems, and knowledge of Six Sigma, SPC, and FMEA. Strong leadership and communication skills are essential for success.

Qualifications

• Minimum eight years of related experience in manufacturing or industrial engineering.
• Familiar with ISO quality systems and plant operation systems.
• Knowledge of Lean methodologies and tools (Flow, Poka Yoke, Heijunka).
• Strong problem solving, documentation, and independent work abilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and improve operational workflows with access to confidential data.
• Lead and mentor a team of Industrial Technicians to maximize performance.
• Propose production layout strategies to optimize resource use and reduce waste.
• Perform capacity planning to meet targets with optimal efficiency.
• Conduct time studies and pursue process improvement initiatives.
• Support CapEx projects from budgeting to implementation.
• Develop and maintain OEE calculations and analysis.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives.
• Conduct man-machine analyses to optimize workstation productivity.
• Apply 5S principles to maintain organized work environments.
• Perform takt time analysis to align planning with demand.
• Monitor KPIs and develop action plans for improvements.
• Lead layout design aligned with lean and Best-in-Class standards.
• Adhere to quality, safety, and environmental policies.
