Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED; 2 years experience in the housekeeping or related professional area.
• 2-year degree from an accredited university in Hotel and Restaurant Management, Hospitality, Business Administration, or related major; no work experience required.

Responsibilities

• Supervises daily shift operations and ensures compliance with housekeeping policies, standards and procedures.
• Manages linen inventory and guest supplies and assists in ordering of supplies as necessary.
• Coordinates with Front Desk and Engineering for guest room maintenance needs.
• Ensures OSHA regulations are up to date and loss prevention policies are followed.
• Participates in interviewing and hiring of Housekeeping staff; schedules to business demands.
