Job summary

EAS Advisory Group SDN. BHD. is seeking a Junior Finance Executive to support a range of accounting, secretarial, taxation and advisory services for SMEs across industries.

You will handle the full set of accounts, review financial policies, and prepare key financial statements with accuracy. The role requires a diploma or degree in finance and accounting and a minimum of 2 years’ accounting experience, along with proficiency in MS Office and accounting software.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Degree in Finance and Accounting required.
• Minimum 2 years of experience in general accounting.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and accounting software.
• Excellent written and verbal communication is expected.

Responsibilities

• Handle full set of accounts for clients.
• Assist in reviewing and implementing financial policies.
• Ensure timely preparation of Balance Sheet, Income Statements, AR & AP ageing reports and other financial reports.
• Ensure statutory deadlines are met to avoid penalties.
• Liaise with external and internal auditors, lawyers, bankers, etc.
• Assist on special assignments or ad-hoc duties.

A Junior Finance Executive position within a professional accounting and business advisory firm specializing in company secretarial, accounting, taxation, audit, payroll and advisory services for SMEs across various industries.

Key responsibilities

Handle full set of accounts

Assist in review and implement financial policies

Ensure timely and accurate preparation of Balance Sheet, Income Statements, AR & AP ageing reports and other financial reports

Ensure all the Statutory Deadlines are met to avoid any late payment or submission penalties

Liaise with both external and internal auditor, lawyer, banker, and etc

Assist on special assignment or any ad-hoc duties

About you

Diploma or Degree in Finance and Accounting

Minimum 2 years of experience in general accounting

Proficient in Microsoft Office and Accounting software

Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal

Good team player, interaction skills, proactive and communication skills

Proficiency in Mandarin is an added advantage due to business communication needs with Mandarin-speaking clients
