Qualifications

• Bachelor's in Accountancy/Finance or professional accounting qualification is required.
• At least 2 years of accounting experience.
• Able to work independently with minimal supervision.
• Mature with strong interpersonal skills and analytical mindset.
• Good command of English and Bahasa Malaysia, both spoken and written.
• Experience in advertising/marketing agency is a plus.
• Fully on-site role with remote work flexibility after 12 months.

Responsibilities

• Manage a full set of accounts: AP, AR, GL, and fixed assets.
• Prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses for management.
• Oversee cash management, petty cash, and credit card disbursements with proper controls.
• Coordinate month-end and year-end closing processes and reconciliations.
• Assist with multi-entity payroll processing and timely statutory submissions.

We're looking for a Junior Finance Executive who can manage a full set of accounts—from Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), General Ledger (GL), to fixed asset functions. You'll also prepare accurate financial reports, statements, and analyses that support key business decisions.

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Financial Reporting
  - Assist in preparation of accurate and timely profit or loss (P/L) reports.
  - Generate comprehensive financial statements and analysis for management review.
• Cash Management
  - Oversee petty cash and credit cards disbursements and reconciliations.
  - Maintain proper documentation and internal controls over cash transactions.
• Media Buy Reporting
  - Ensure all payments made reconciles with ad campaign spend.
  - Maintain proper documentation of media buy receipts for WHT filing.
• Month-end and year-end closing processes
  - Assist in coordinating month-end and year-end closing process.
  - Perform reconciliation of accounts and ensure all financial activities are appropriately recorded.
• Multi-entity payroll processing
  - Assist in coordinating monthly payroll processing and timely statutory submissions and payments
