Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or related discipline.
• Recent graduate or up to 3 years of post-graduation experience in civil or structural engineering.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, STAAD Pro, or other structural analysis software.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office Suite and project management tools.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.
• Strong communication abilities, both written and verbal.
• Able to work independently and as part of a collaborative team.
• Preferably registered or eligible for registration as a Professional Engineer in Malaysia.

Responsibilities

• Assisting in the design and analysis of structural systems, foundations, and building components using industry-standard software and methodologies.
• Conducting site inspections and surveys to assess project conditions and gather data for design and planning purposes.
• Preparing technical drawings, plans, and specifications in accordance with relevant building codes and standards.
• Supporting the preparation of project proposals, cost estimates, and feasibility studies.
• Collaborating with senior engineers, architects, and contractors to ensure design integrity and project compliance.
• Performing calculations and simulations to verify structural performance and safety requirements.
• Maintaining accurate project documentation and maintaining records in accordance with company procedures.
• Liaising with clients and stakeholders to communicate project updates and technical information.
• Contributing to continuous improvement of engineering processes and best practices.
