Jora Malaysia is seeking a Junior Electrical Maintenance Technician to support maintenance of electrical systems at the Butterworth site. The role requires basic electrical knowledge or a Diploma/Chargeman certification, and at least one year of related experience, with fresh graduates encouraged to apply.

Independence and teamwork are both needed, and own transport is required for Butterworth area. The role covers maintenance planning, light fixtures, switchboards, meters, compressors, and

Qualifications

Candidate must possess basic electrical knowledge or a Diploma in Electrical or Chargeman / Professional Certification such as SKM or equivalent.
Minimum one year related work experience; fresh graduates encouraged to apply.
Able to work independently with minimum supervision and in a team.
Possess own transport and willing to work at Butterworth area.

Responsibilities

In charge of light fixtures, electrical switch boards and electrical meters, screw air compressors and gauss strength checking based on routine schedules.
In charge of planning maintenance and servicing for electrical switchboards during Mill stoppages.
To assist Maintenance Fitter to dismantle the faulty electric motors, send it for rewinding and reassembling after repairs.
Performs other related duties or task as assigned by the superior from time to time in an efficient, professional, and courteous.
