Job summary

IKON SUBSEA SDN BHD is seeking an electrical engineer to perform calculations, evaluations, and CAD documentation for various projects in Malaysia. The role involves coordinating with mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors, and overseeing on-site installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical calculations, including load analysis, short circuit, and voltage drop.
• Conduct feasibility studies and technical evaluations of proposed electrical solutions.
• Prepare detailed drawings, schematics, and documentation using CAD software.
• Ensure compliance with electrical codes, safety standards, and regulations.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including mechanical engineers, project managers, and contractors.
• Oversee the installation, testing, and commissioning of electrical systems on-site.
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting during the project lifecycle.
