Job summary

Dyson invites creative design engineers to join our Global Development Centre in Johor Bahru, Malaysia. You will develop robust, manufacturable designs, create 3D models, and prepare technical specifications for production.

You will work with cross-functional teams to translate concepts into working prototypes and ensure design for manufacture. Fresh graduates with a mechanical/electromechanical background, knowledge of DFMEA/PFMEA, and hands-on 3D CAD experience are encouraged to apply.

Qualifications

• Degree holder in Engineering or Science, mechanical/electromechanical ideal.
• Fresh grads with industrial training in product design welcome.
• DFMEA/PFMEA knowledge and applied experience is preferred.
• Proficient in 3D CAD and technical drawing, good English.

Responsibilities

• Develop robust, manufacturable designs and prepare specs.
• Create 3D models, BOMs, drawings, and testing plans.
• Collaborate with manufacturing to ensure design for assembly and cost.
• Review supplier docs and support design reviews.
• Probe design risks and drive improvements with cross-functional teams.
