Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook food items according to established recipes and chef instructions, maintaining consistent quality and portion control
• Assist in food preparation including chopping, marinating, and portioning ingredients for service
• Maintain cleanliness and organisation of your assigned station, including equipment and work surfaces
• Support the kitchen team in plating and presentation of dishes to meet restaurant standards
• Monitor stock levels of ingredients and report shortages to senior kitchen staff
• Follow all food safety and hygiene protocols to ensure a safe cooking environment
• Collaborate with other kitchen team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods
• Assist with food deliveries, storage and inventory management as required
• Learn and develop new cooking techniques and culinary skills under mentorship from senior chefs
