Job summary

Lotus's Malaysia is seeking a Fresh Buying Executive to support the buying team with daily purchasing, supplier coordination, and data management. This is an excellent opportunity for fresh graduates to gain hands-on experience in procurement and retail operations.

You will assist with listings and pricing, ensure data integrity, update barcode and item information, and provide prompt service to suppliers, while helping the team achieve business goals.

Qualifications

• Diploma in Business Administration or equivalent (fresh graduates welcome).
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office for reports and presentations.
• Ability to manage priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently and in a team.
• Good command of Bahasa Malaysia, English and Chinese.
• Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and passion for retail.

Responsibilities

• Assist the buying team with daily purchasing activities and administrative tasks such as reports, sales recaps, price checks, and supplier queries.
• Coordinate with suppliers on new product listings, promotional pricing, and other buying-related matters.
• Provide accurate product, cost, and supplier data to the Central IM Support Team to maintain data integrity.
• Ensure barcode and item information is correctly updated by liaising with buyers and suppliers.
• Respond promptly and professionally to supplier queries, delivering excellent service.
• Offer general administrative support to help the buying team achieve business goals.
