Job summary

Ergoworks Sdn Bhd in Malaysia is seeking a meticulous Account Executive to handle day-to-day bookkeeping using cloud accounting tools. You will work closely with management and receive guidance from our external Chartered Accountant.

This role emphasizes data entry, invoicing, bank reconciliation, and payroll support, with fresh graduates welcome. English and Bahasa Malaysia skills are essential to interact with management and clients.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or equivalent.
• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply! (1–2 years of relevant accounting/admin experience is an added advantage).
• Basic knowledge of accounting principles; familiarity with cloud accounting software such as QuickBooks Online, Xero, or Bukku is a strong plus.
• Highly organized, detail-oriented, and numbers-focused.
• Good command of written and spoken English and Bahasa Malaysia.
• Eager to learn, proactive, and able to work independently with clear guidance.

Responsibilities

• Day-to-Day Data Entry: Accurately record financial transactions, vendor bills, and operational expenses in QuickBooks Online.
• Invoicing & Billing: Generate and issue professional B2B invoices and tracking accounts receivable.
• Expense & Claim Management: Process digital staff claims and maintain proper supporting documents.
• Bank Reconciliation: Match and reconcile daily bank feed transactions in QuickBooks under the supervision of our advisor.
• Compliance Support: Assist in managing client data (TIN and SSM numbers) for LHDN e-Invoicing compliance.
• Payroll & Administrative Support: Assist in drafting monthly payroll data (EPF, SOCSO, EIS, PCB) for review by our external Account Advisor.
