Job summary

Kanry Search in Malaysia is seeking skilled technicians for advanced semiconductor equipment assembly. You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, wiring, and install components, reading schematics and BOMs to meet strict quality standards.

This 1-year contract offers training, potential for permanent placement, a rotating shift including nights, a fixed RM300 transport allowance and a meal card, plus medical benefits in a high‑tech manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• SPM/SKM or Diploma in mechanical, electrical, electronics, mechatronics or related technical field.
• Experience as Technician/Assembly Technician is advantageous.
• Familiarity with electrical/mechanical assembly, wiring and technical drawings is beneficial.

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, wiring, and installation.
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and basic measuring equipment.
• Read and follow engineering drawings, schematics, BOMs and work instructions.

Salary & Benefits

• Basic Salary: RM2,200 – RM2,800
• Gross Salary: Up to approximately RM4,000 including OT and allowances

Job Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical and electrical assembly, wiring, and installation
• Use hand tools, power tools, torque tools, and basic measuring equipment
• Read and follow Engineering Drawings, Schematic Diagrams, BOMs, and Work Instructions
• Assemble components according to required specifications and work standards
• Ensure completed work meets established quality and safety standards
• Support other production and assembly-related duties when required

Requirements

• SPM / SKM / Diploma in Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics, Mechatronics, or a related technical field
• Experience as a Technician, Assembly Technician, Manufacturing Technician, or Production Technician will be an advantage
• Candidates with at least 6 months of relevant experience are encouraged to apply
• Familiarity with electrical or mechanical assembly, wiring, and technical drawings will be advantageous
• Willing to work on rotating shifts, including night shifts
• Positive work attitude, good discipline, and willingness to learn
