Job summary

Acetalent Group in Pasir Gudang, Johor is seeking a Technician (Assembly/Production) to join our semiconductor equipment manufacturing operation. You will perform mechanical and electrical assembly, operate production equipment, monitor processes, and ensure all work aligns with technical specifications.

The role requires reading drawings, performing inspections, troubleshooting issues, and maintaining equipment.

Responsibilities

• Assemble components mechanically and/or electrically per specs.
• Operate production equipment and monitor tool usage.

Position Information

Position: Technician (Assembly / Production)

Industry: Semiconductor Equipment Manufacturing

Working Location: Pasir Gudang, Johor (ASM & AAM)

Remuneration

• Basic Salary: RM1,900 – RM2,500 per month (excluding overtime)

Job Responsibilities

1. Assembly & Production Operations

• Perform mechanical and/or electrical assembly of components according to technical specifications
• Operate production equipment and ensure correct usage of tools, materials, and machine settings
• Carry out repetitive tasks with consistency, focus, and attention to detail

2. Process Monitoring & Quality Control

• Monitor production processes and perform necessary adjustments
• Conduct visual inspections and functional testing to ensure product quality
• Identify and report defects or irregularities

3. Technical Interpretation

• Read and interpret multimeters, technical drawings, blueprints, and schematic diagrams

4. Troubleshooting & Problem Solving

• Troubleshoot assembly and production issues efficiently
• Work closely with engineering and maintenance teams for continuous improvement

5. Equipment Maintenance

• Perform basic maintenance and preventive maintenance on machines and tools
• Report faults or repair needs promptly

6. Safety & Team Collaboration

• Follow safety procedures.
• Comply with company policies and environmental regulations
• Work closely with team members to achieve production targets

Requirements

• SKM or Diploma in Mechanical / Mechatronic / Electrical / Electronic / Automation / Robotic / Pneumatic / Chemical / Welding or related fields
• Minimum 1 year of manufacturing experience is an advantage
• Fresh graduates are encouraged to apply
• Have own transport and able to work in Pasir Gudang, Johor
